How to make an appointment

To make an appointment for a health check, you can make an on-site appointment directly at the counter of Preventive Medicine Center on the 2nd floor in Kao-Ho Hospital.

You can join the official LINE and provide your name, contact number and service requirements, and we will contact you within one working day.

◆If the examinee is a first-time client of the hospital, please provide the front and back of the ID card, health insurance card or passport and other information for the establishment of medical records.

◆After the reservation is completed, the center will send the "Notes to the Examiner" and "Health Examination Related Supplies" to the customer by mail or home delivery. Please pay attention to the receipt and read the inspection instructions carefully.


Reservation Notes

  • For patients who want to undergo painless gastroenteroscopy, if taking anticoagulant drugs for heart disease (eg: Bokey, Aspirin, Plavix, Coumadin, Dabigatran, Xarelto Rivaroxaban, Apixaban, Li Xian'an Edoxaban), or Ginkgo biloba, fish oil or traditional Chinese medicine for activating blood circulation, please be sure to inform in advance.
    Or suspend taking 3-5 days before the examination day. For those who have not stopped taking the drug, for safety reasons, colonoscopy will not be allowed to slice and remove polyps.
  • Ophthalmological examination: Do not wear contact lenses.
  • Urine test: Avoid menstrual periods.
  • Fecal examination: Avoid the physiological period and hemorrhoid bleeding period.
  • X-ray examination: such as routine X-ray photography, computed tomography, bone density examination, mammography, etc., pregnant women will not be allowed.
  • Pap smear: Avoid menstrual periods. Those who are pregnant will not be allowed to proceed.
  • Females who are pregnant or suspected to be pregnant, please inform us proactively. X-rays, computed tomography, bone density tests, and Pap smears will not be arranged.
  • On the day of the examination, please do not bring or wear valuables, or wear underwear with metal ornaments.
  • If you are unable to come to the health examination on time, please notify by phone 2-3 days before the examination, so as to facilitate the arrangement of the examination time.

※Precautions for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)/Computed Tomography Containing Contrast Agent (CT): (If there are any of the following situations, please be sure to inform and re-evaluate whether it can be performed): Have received intracranial aneurysm, cardiac pacemaker, cardiac artificial Valves, artificial electronic ears and other surgeries, iron filings in the orbit or other devices containing ferromagnetic substances in the body, abnormal renal function (blood creatinine <2.0, eGFR <30), and those who are currently pregnant.
