Rounded and Feminine Architectural Appearance
The arc-based architectural structure is paired with U-shaped tempered glass designed with matte imitation. During the day, the hospital seems covered with hazy white gauze. At night, the rear-projection light source diffuses soft light through the exterior glass decorating the hospital like a lantern in the dark.
A Breathing Building
The U-shaped reinforced glass curtain blocks the direct exposure of ultraviolet rays and sunlight to the building. The exterior wall of the building is made of aluminium alloy to create a double-layer hollow structure, and the space between the ventilation circle and the U-shaped reinforced glass curtain is reserved on the outside to form natural cooling circulation ducts and insulate external noise.
The Comfortable Light
On the west of the building, a hollow patio that runs through the eight floors is designed. A glass patio roof and fixed filter curtains allow soft sunlight falls naturally. A garden is set on the first floor on the east side, combined with a large floor-to-ceiling glass curtain wall and an escape safety ladder to create an open-air patio, allowing people to enjoy soft light and greenery.
Reassuring Fresh Air
Traditional water-cooled cooling tower system air conditioners have the risk of breeding Legionella pneumophila and causing Legionnaires' disease. Kao-Ho Hospital adopts the extraordinary VRV system to eliminate the mentioned risks, ensure that each space is circulated independently and naturally ventilated, avoid the chance of germs spreading through the air, and improve cooling efficiency.

The pollution of the external environment often causes various heavy metals and other harmful pollutants to remain in the water source, causing different degrees of harm to the body or causing various diseases when people use it.
Since the city's water supply is connected to the building, the water purification equipment installed in Kao-Ho Hospital has carried out a series of purification procedures to ensure that the water used for hand washing, bathing, and even toilet flushing in the building is pure. In addition, to meet the preferences and habits of each visitor, a smart RO water dispenser with temperature control is specially set for drinking water, which can provide boiling water, medium-high temperature, warm water and ice water to meet different needs of occasions.
